As the year winds down, its time we started making fun of all the things that just sucked and lamented over the things that could've been made better.
I'm going with the downfall of Fisker. Mismanagement, ineptitude, flambes. These guys had it all and they ruined what was arguably a very handsome car in a decent enough package. Sure, they didn't exactly challenge the status quo like Tesla has with the Model S, but there was something to be said for a how appealing the Fisker was.
I'm also doing a poor job at staying off the internet and doing work, so it might as well be spent in highly entertaining and perhaps thoughtful ways. You've got almost 365 days worth of automotive news to get through and figure out what was disappointing.

I forgot about that...that video of it going around the track really made me sad. I have never heard a 4 cylinder engine in my life sound so good. They could have had 1. A legit successor to the XJ220, 2. A legit competitor to the 918/LF/P1, and 3. An amazing halo car to finally draw some real attention to the brand. But now they have none of it. This is a failure of Detroit proportions.

Not to mention the best looking car Jag has ever made. And that's saying something.

Didn't that actually happen in 2012 though and they just covered it up until 2013?

It happened in 2008 but we only found about it this year. :(
